Where we began…
Daniel and Alison McLaughlin had a dream. A beautiful farm in Loudoun County where they could enjoy family life and fully pursue their dog training operations. For years Daniel lived in an apartment on the property and asked regularly if it was for sale, only to be told that it wasn’t. Then, one day, it was. Finally. And so begins the tale of Finally Farm and the new home of Loudoun K9 Dog Training.
Both Daniel and Alison saw a need in the community for service dogs and dreamed about being able to help meet those needs.With a mission to be able to use their expertise and the provisions God had blessed them with, Finally Farm Labradors + Service Dogs became a reality.
Our Experience
With nearly a decade of experience owning and operating Loudoun K9 Dog Training LLC, Daniel is prepared for the task ahead of him. He has demonstrated his preparation, dedication, patience, and perseverance to bring his dream of Loudoun K9 to where it is today. He has personally experienced the power of a four-legged companion whom he trained to help him survive depression, PTSD, and severe anxiety attacks. Daniel knows the impact of a well trained dog and the difference it can make in a person’s life.He is now focused on his next big dream to help others through Finally Farm Labradors + Service Dogs.
Alison comes from a different avenue, with over 20 years of experience in helping students with disabilities in an educational setting. Through her years of experience and opportunities of growth, she has seen the need for helping students and other people with disabilities gain independence through service animals.
Both Daniel and Alison’s shared passion to help those in need has driven them to create this non-profit dedicated to supporting the community, and working within it to give the gift of a service companion to change lives.

We do not accept any form of payment for the service dogs we give to our chosen recipients, and your donation will help make these dreams come true for individuals with the greatest need in our community.
